We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Development team. This individual is responsible for providing leadership and management of the Quality Assurance group.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Developing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs, policies and processes to ensure quality and performance of our retail management applications conform to established standards;
· Overseeing all hiring and support of Quality Assurance staff to ensure a cohesive and strong team;
· Providing oversight for all product releases to ensure proper issue management review, product version control, process deviation, and change control;
· Establishing and maintaining quality agreements in order to identify, investigate and report quality issues back to other groups.
· Interacting with customers, business partners and regulatory agencies;
· Ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance;
· Establishing goals and metrics to track performance;
· Identifying quality assurance improvement opportunities and cross functionality by partnering with Development and Product Design teams; and
· Assisting Documentation Management with effective administration of all electronic documentation.
The successful candidate must possess:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar area (or equivalent work experience);
· 10+ years experience in software quality assurance;
· 5+ years experience in a senior level management position;
· Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC and commercial software deployments;
· Extensive knowledge of technical fundamentals within retail technology;
· Excellent technical writing and communication skills;
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks at the same time;
· Excellent leadership and mentoring skills;
· Ability to interact with customers and business partners regarding very technical and sensitive issues;
· Ability to adapt to different environments and possess a flexible mindset; and
· Ability to travel up to 25%.
· Experience in retail or retail support is a plus.
