Description: | We are looking for a talented designers/developer who can help us maintain and continue growth. This is not two positions, we actually want someone who is interested in both design and development. We are a design firm first and foremost so being aesthetically talented is very important, but as all things go digital it is equally important to possess the skills to translate design into deliverables. Similarly, while it is important to have development skills, it is equally important to know how to apply these skills to the branding process. For safe measure we have listed the talents that the perfect applicant should have:
Ability to develop and produce original concepts.
Ability to describe rationale behind concepts.
Can brush your teeth and shave at the same time. (Or brush teeth and hair at the same time for the ladies.)
Can use the word 'architecture' in context other then the building industry.
Has a strong opinion about which blogging software is better: Blogger, Wordpress, Kontain, Moveable Type, et cetera.
Can upgrade memory on your Mac.
Experience with Flash/ActionScript.
Some Experience with HTML/CSS and knows the ABC's of PHP.
Have ridden the SEO wave, or at least closely watched as a enthusiastic spectator.
Can perform magic tricks.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs.
Accomplished banjo picker. (Or any bluegrassy instrument.)
Confident, but not cocky.
The perfect candidate will have all of these talents and still bring something to the table, but we invite all who possess a desire to grow as a designer and strategic thinker to apply.
